it's been WAY too long......

i can't tell you where the last 8 months went but has been eventful. devon is almost through with first grade. he is a wiz at math and his reading skills have really grown this year. lately there have been those moments that i look at him and see that he is growing up. the saying that "they grow up right before your eyes is very true" a little clichéd but true. he got all of his homework done early so he has a rare opportunity to watch some tv and play the wii. it seems that we just go and go most of the time so it is nice to have a relaxing evening sometimes. i will try and make an effort to update on a weekly basis. a lot has happened since i last wrote. i need to add some pictures and video of devon's basketball season.
